INTRODUCTION

Atchol-F Tablet is a medicine used to treat high cholesterol. Atchol-F Tablet is a combination of two medicines that reduces “bad” cholesterol (LDL) and triglycerides (fats) levels. It may also reduce risk of future heart attack and stroke.

Lifestyle changes like low-fat diet, exercise and not smoking may help Atchol-F Tablet to work better. This medicine should be taken with food at a fixed time. Stomach pain, muscle pain and constipation are some side effects associated with this medicine.

HOW ATCHOL-F TABLET WORKS

Atchol-F Tablet is a combination of two lipid-lowering medicines: Atorvastatin and fenofibrate. Atorvastatin prevents your body from making “bad” cholesterol (LDL), while fenofibrate works by lowering the levels of triglycerides in your blood. Both raise the levels of “good” cholesterol (HDL).
