INTRODUCTION OF GYNASET TABLET

Gynaset Tablet is a medicine used to treat pain and heavy bleeding associated with menstruation and endometriosis (a disorder in which tissue that lines the uterus grows outside the uterus). It is also used to delay periods.

Gynaset Tablet should be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time. This medicine is not a birth control medicine, so use a non-hormonal method of contraception such as condoms to prevent pregnancy. It may cause bleeding or spotting between menstrual periods but it is better to inform your doctor if this occurs frequently.

HOW GYNASET TABLET WORKS

Gynaset Tablet is a synthetic progestin. It works by mimicking the effects of natural progesterone (female hormone). It helps regulate the growth and shedding of the womb lining, thereby treating menstrual irregularities.

Gynaset Tablet is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy. Seek your doctor’s advice as studies on pregnant women and animals have shown significant harmful effects to the developing baby.

Gynaset Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.
Nonhormonal contraceptives are preferred in breastfeeding women, especially during the first 4 weeks postpartum
warnings Driving
Gynaset Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.

There is limited information available on the use of Gynaset Tablet in patients with kidney disease. Please consult your doctor.

Gynaset Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Gynaset Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Use of Gynaset Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease. Inform your doctor if you develop signs of jaundice like yellowing of eyes and skin, itching, and clay colored stools.
