INTRODUCTION OF LICAB TABLET

Licab Tablet is a prescription medicine used in the treatment of bipolar disorder and mania. It helps to decrease the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells and calms the brain.

Licab Tablet is taken by mouth with food. However, it is advisable to take it at the same time each day as this helps to maintain consistent level of medicine in the body. You should never skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. If you have missed a dose, take it as soon as you remember it. You should continue to take this medicine for as long as the doctor advises and do not stop taking it suddenly as it may result in harmful effects. If you have been taking this medicine for a long time than regular monitoring of thyroid and kidney function may be required.

Side effects associated with the use of this medicine includes tremor, slurred speech, nausea, acne, hair loss, and skin rash. It may cause dizziness, so do not drive, operate machinery, until you know how this medicine affects you. It may cause diarrhea and dehydration, so it is better to drink plenty of water and and use normal amount of salt in your diet. This medicine may also cause weight gain and to control it, you should have a balanced diet and exercise regularly.
