INTRODUCTION

Montemac-FX Tablet is a combination medicine used in the treatment of various allergic conditions like runny nose, watery eyes, sneezing, itching, swelling and rashes. It also reduces inflammation in the airways and make breathing easier.

Take Montemac-FX Tablet in the dose and duration advised by the doctor. In case you miss a dose of this medicine, take it as soon as you remember. You should complete the full course of treatment and never stop this medicine without consulting the doctor.

It may cause some side effects like nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. It may also cause dizziness, so do not drive or do anything that needs attention.

HOW TO USE MONTEMAC-FX TABLET

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Montemac-FX Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

HOW MONTEMAC-FX TABLET WORKS

Montelukast is a leukotriene antagonist. It works by blocking the action of a chemical messenger called leukotriene. This reduces inflammation (swelling) in the airways and nose and improves symptoms. Fexofenadine is an antiallergic which blocks the action of another chemical messenger (histamine) responsible for runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing.

Caution is advised when consuming alcohol with Montemac-FX Tablet. Please consult your doctor.
warnings Pregnancy
Montemac-FX Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.
warnings Lactation
Montemac-FX Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.
warnings Driving
Montemac-FX Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
warnings Kidney
Montemac-FX Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Montemac-FX Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
May cause excessive sleepiness in patients with end stage kidney disease.
