INTRODUCTION

Monticope-A Tablet SR is used for prevention of asthma. It thins and loosens mucus and make it easier to cough out and relieves allergy symptoms such as sneezing, itching, watery eyes, or runny nose.

Monticope-A Tablet SR also works by blocking the action of chemical messengers and reduces inflammation in the airways and nose. It is better to take Monticope-A Tablet SR in the dose and duration advised by the doctor. In case you miss a dose of this medicine, take it as soon as you remember. Never stop taking this medicine without consulting the doctor and complete the full course of treatment.

This medication may cause side effects like stomach upset, nausea, diarrhea, and vomiting. It may cause dizziness, so do not drive or do anything that needs attention.

HOW MONTICOPE-A TABLET SR WORKS

Monticope-A Tablet SR is a combination of three medicines: Ambroxol, Levocetirizine and Montelukast. Ambroxol is a mucolytic which thins and loosens mucus (phlegm), making it easier to cough out. Levocetirizine is an antiallergic which relieves allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing. Montelukast is a leukotriene antagonist. It works by blocking the action of leukotriene, a chemical messenger. This reduces inflammation in the airways and nose and improves your symptoms.
