INTRODUCTION

Torsinex Plus Tablet is a combination of two medicines used to reduce excess fluid levels in the body while maintaining the potassium balance. It is used to treat edema (fluid overload) and some cases of hypertension. It is best to take this medicine in the morning along with food in order to avoid frequent urination at night time. This medicine may cause dehydration, so it is better to take plenty of fluids whole day. Regular monitoring of kidney function and electrolytes is important while using this medicine. This medicine may produce enlargement of breast in male patients as a side effect but it gets back to normal after the medicine is discontinued. Dizziness may occur as a side effect initially, but this improves with time.

HOW TO USE TORSINEX PLUS TABLET

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Torsinex Plus Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Torsinex Plus Tablet Taking Torsamide with alcohol may have additive effects in lowering your blood pressure. You may experience headache, dizziness, lightheadedness, fainting, and/or changes in pulse or heart rate.
warnings Pregnancy
Torsinex Plus Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.

Torsinex Plus Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.
